We feel privileged in being able to offer our toll collection services for this urban engineering marvel. The Toll Plaza is located at Bandra end. In this project currently there are 10 Toll lanes which are available for traffic with 3 lanes which are reversible. The state of art tolling equipment has already been installed considering of smart cards and On Board Unit (OBU) which will enable the motorist to travel at a speedy pace. This being the first urban tolling project, we expect light commercial vehicles as the maximum users of this bridge. We have to clear a traffic volume 40 to 45 thousands of vehicles per day.

As mentioned above, there are 3 modes of payment available 1) Cash 2) Smart Cards and 3) On Board Unit (OBU). The motorist intending to use plaza on a regular basis can avail monthly pass by purchasing Monthly pass.

MEP is currently handling about 12 plazas in the State of Maharashtra and Gujarat and has an experience of handling more than 100 Toll lanes of which 50% are automated. All the toll collectors, Incharge, Managers go through a 7 days training before they are put on the Plazas to increase the efficiency and speed for clearing traffic which is utmost importance.

MEP Toll Road Private Limited was incorporated on 8th August 2002 and the Company is in business of securitization of toll roads, toll collection, operation and maintenance of highway, bridges. The company is also participating in revenue collection tenders of various Government Departments in across India.
