The Bandra Worli Sea Link is built on the sea and therefore corrosion is one of the challenges for the durability of this structure. The designers, planners and the execution agencies have made sure that this challenge is overcome by employing one of the most known corrosion protection mechanisms, that is Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating to Rebars used in the bridge. Not withstanding the aggressive marine environment, now the bridge is ready to service the society for over a century.

PSL with the experience of three decades in plant applied coatings to protect the petroleum carrying pipe line as well as reinforcement of steel bars for RCC structures, has carried out the task of applying the coating to the satisfaction of the agencies.
