May impact his current social work
His efforts have been focused on yoga and it really works for people with mild ailments. His mission to treat sick minds in politics can prove detrimental to the social work he is carrying on. I think his foray into politics will have a negative effect on the mind of people. Public life may harm his mission, which will hamper his positive social image.

Large following is certainly a plus point
He should continue to be a yoga guru and not enter into politics. Once he enters into public life, I’m sure he won’t be able to share his talent with his disciples as much as he is doing today. Also people look up to him as a yoga guru and not as a politician. Entering into politics will only hamper his image as he may be accused of corruption by other parties.

Shouldn’t enter murky politics
I don’t think he should enter politics as it might generate resentment among his followers. His proposal to cleanse the body politic through the Bharat Swabhiman campaign might be genuine, but I don’t think it will work as Indian politics is murky. He should concentrate on yoga and try to preach people to be honest in their daily life. This will help in fighting corruption and other evils in an effective way.

Religious leaders are testing the waters
Initially politics was a family affair, then actors from Hindi cinema arrived and now religious leaders are trying their luck. People should stick to their profession and desist from using their expertise in everything. There are people who study political science but that doesn’t make them good public servants. Baba Ramdev’s yoga sessions really work wonders.
