I’m a spiritual being on a spiritual quest; hence, I am spiritually inclined, very naturally. Spirituality to me means being led by a purpose higher than just spending life and making money.
It means I contribute consciously towards the betterment of others and productively towards my own spiritual evolution. It is a way of life, knowing my place and purpose as a part of the universe and not just a household or a company or a nation.
I connect to my higher self with music and in open spaces such as the sea side, open fields, the majestic sky. When I am flying, the experience opens my soul to embrace the universe and those few moments of raw freedom bring me a level of peace and joy that is inexplicable.They show up in magical ways in my energy afterwards. For me every moment is an opportunity to connect with my spiritual side, whether I am cooking, writing an article, doing a seminar or simply playing with my dog.
Spirituality is not a dormant phenomenon; it’s in action, it’s in the flow. We don’t live in a passive universe; spirituality is best connected with action, full on! I’ve learnt many lessons in my spiritual journey to where I am today. I guess we are all on the same journey, from lost to found, from fear to freedom. Learning to appreciate life and everything that it holds is something I have learnt to do. To be happy for no reason at all is a state I feel I have grown into. Always keeping sight of my purpose so the daily mundane makes sense, has been something I practice consciously.
