Today children can decide if they want to play such games themselves. I had heard that there was already something similar existing in cyberspace. It varies from every person if they find it offensive or if they are okay with playing such a game. There is a section of society that may get offended by such games, but we don’t need to delve too much and just treat it as a simple videogame.

The segment which these video games target — the modern generation of children is least bothered about such sentiments. They are broad-minded to have jingoistic sentiments and may not necessarily find the game of the Mumbai attacks offensive. We are getting too narrow minded, if we take it in that direction. Kids are mature and can distinguish between entertainment and patriotism.
—Kapidhwaja Pratap Singh

Why make a big noise about the game inspired by the 26/11 shootout at CST station? Isn’t it just a video game? I think those who are not offended by it will go ahead and try it. There will be others who will try it just out of curiosity. I haven’t tried it nor seen anyone playing it so far, hence I don’t know if it is actually based on the terror attacks in Mumbai. I think that we shouldn’t get too judgmental about the game before knowing the intricacies.

I’m against any kind of violent video games. Such forms of recreation will endorse aggression in young minds. But as far as my knowledge goes, if not this game, there are other games in the market which will have a similar theme. If this particular game upsets people, nothing much can be done. Any obscene or aggressive game is a no-no, but these days kids are too tech-savvy and mature and do what they please.
—Kriti Tawde

News channels showcase violence prevailing all around the globe. Let’s take this as a starting point, promoting games with 26/11 attacks as the theme is a wrong concept and in bad taste. This way we are encouraging our children to get engrossed in playing violent games which should be avoided. We are an educated society and can decide what is good and bad for us, but this game gets thumbs-down from me.
