Both parents and kids should join hobby classes together
The competitive world is keeping both parents as well as children busy. If both do not get time during the week, then weekends are the best times to be together. There is no work stress for parents and children too are in the holiday mood. I think parents can take their children out on weekends to movies or to parks and spend time with each other. Another good option is to join some classes like positive thinking or dance classes where both children and parents can participate and bond with each other. At the same time they can learn something innovative and interesting together in these classes.

I dedicate my entire Sunday to my children
I have two children and I cannot spend time with them during the week. So I go home early on Saturday and try to avoid any office work or even official calls on Sunday. I give my entire Sunday to my children. On Sunday afternoons, we mostly do not go out anywhere but rather prefer sitting at home and talking to each other. That is the only time during the week when we can actually talk to each other. Both my children love to spend Sundays with me. We watch TV or movies and keep discussing about what is happening at out workplace or in their lives. This helps us to staying connected with each other.

Weekends are a complete family affair for me
Since I have two daughters, I have to be very careful and make it a point to spend time with them. Both of them are very young so they seek my time and attention. At times I take them to nearby parks but sometimes they demand that I be present at home along with them. It is difficult to manage, but we have to do it or else children will grow up and I will never come to know what is happening in their lives. It is important to spend time with each other. I spend time with them in the evenings before dinner so that they can sleep on time. Weekends are a complete family affair for me.

Home is the best place to be
with family

The first thing we can do to spend time with family is to have dinner together, come what may. If this rule is followed, you will come home in the evening to your family, eat together and also get to talk about the day’s activities with each other. This is a good way to bond. Another best time is the weekend. We should make it a point to spend our weekends with our family so that we can go out and have fun together. Even if you do not go out every weekend, you can spend time together by watching TV or playing some interactive video games, inwhich both children and parents can participate. It is not necessary to go out. Your home is the best place to be without any disturbance from the outside world.

It is not necessary to talk; it is about spending time together
There is nothing different we need to do to spend time with our parents. We have to make time for each other. At the end of the day, I sit with my parents and we talk about the day’s happenings. Sometimes we watch a movie together at home. It is not necessary to talk; it is about spending time together. On weekends, we go out for lunch and then have ice cream together, which is a lot of fun. Weekends are awesome as we get complete time with the family, unlike weekdays where we have to be at schools and parents need to go to work.

I spend quality time with my parents during vacations
Both my parents are really busy so I get to spend time with them only during the vacations. On weekends, we go out for shopping or for picnic, but during vacations we make it a point to go abroad or to some far flung place where we can be together. I go to school at 8 am and return home only at 7 in the evening. So even I am busy with my school and classes, which is why I have to wait for my vacations to spend quality time with them.
