Suburban residents don’t want to suffer through traffic jams for a good party any longer. Goregaon now has city’s tallest five-star luxury hotel — Westin Garden City opened its door on January 16.
The 32-storied tower offers a breathtaking view of the city’s landscape and surrounding green belt. It is strategically located close to emerging business districtsand widely acclaimed Film City at Dindoshi.
The hotel is situated off the highway, behind Oberoi Mall in Goregaon East and is a short drive from both the international and domestic airports.
The hotel offers special rates of Rs9000 per day, inclusive of breakfast and 24 hours of internet surfing. One can also opt for a special day’s rate displayed on hotel’s website.
To enjoy a clear view of whole city without any hindrance, two restaurants named Kangan and Seasonal Tastes are located on 18th floor. The hotel’s 269 spacious rooms and suites are among the largest in the city.
Guests can check in at The Westin Hotel at 3 pm instead of 12 noon, which is the standard practice in most city hotels. “To cater to food aficionados, we have five dining spaces — Prego (Italian), Kangan (Indian), Seasonal Tastes (Asian and international all-day dining), Eighteen, the Lounge (bar) and the Splash (Poolside bar and restaurant),” said Anjali Mehra, director marketing (communication).
Starting from February 15, Prego Italian restaurant and Splash poolside bar and restaurant will offer a free drink on placing an order for an alcoholic beverage, during happy hours.
There are various banquet venues made available to cater to the demands of guests. The grand ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests. Three conference rooms - Chafa, Taman and Mogra - can accommodate 20 guests each and can be converted into a single venue, if the need arises. The boardroom can accommodate 14 guests.
