Piramal Nagar residents are facing a tough battle. A private builder of an adjoining plot is allegedly involved in a trespass. A single boundary wall separates our colony and his plot.
Ideally the private builder should have access to his plot from his land but due to some legal hassle he is having with his tenant, he is unable to gain access to his plot.
He is left with no alternative but to seek an access from our colony road. A few months ago, he allegedly broke the boundary wall and created a gate there. Taking cognisance of the encroachment into the colony, the residents approached the court and lodged a case against the private builder.
For want of regular representation, the court dismissed the residents' plea. We need to note that the court has merely dismissed our complaint, which does not mean that the builder has the permission to use the road. We had built a wall in place of the gate and had fixed some pipes near the boundary. It was shocking to find that a few miscreants came into the colony and pulled down the wall early this month. This is certainly an act of hooliganism and must be tackled sternly.
The residents of Piramal Nagar are seeking the intervention of the local police authorities to extend us protection from the private builder.
