I want to draw the attention of civic authorities towards the deteriorating condition of Andheri-Kurla Road right from Andheri station upto Asalpha. Eventhough it has been cemented, still one can see huge potholes and several missing paverblocks. To add to the woes, even the level of each concrete slab is uneven which causes great discomfiture for two-wheeler riders and motorists while moving on this road.
Moreover, it is very risky and hazardous especially for two-wheeler riders, since an uneven cement slab patch can lead to a fall or an accident due to imbalance. The seepage of water while arriving near the airport signal from Marol, speaks volumes about ignorant attitude of the relevant civic authorities.
Eventhough the monsoon is behind us, motorists find it difficult to commute and negotiate their way. Avoiding the potholes and uneven patches within the clogged water is an ordeal for many.
With the new government having assumed office and begun the task of governance, people will certainly expect it to resolve their woes. It must first start from reviewing existing infrastructure than announcing new projects without maintenance.
