The SSC online admission process was a smooth process. We were able to fill in the form within 15 minutes. It was only on Saturday that the website crashed, I think it was because of overload as many students would have logged on during the weekend. I would like to point out that it is a user-friendly website.

I fail to understand why such a negative reaction from the public for an innovative and time-saving process that is beneficial to virtually all. We have to remember that lakhs of students are simultaneously accessing the site and as a result, the site crashed. My daughter was able to file the form in less than 30 minutes while sitting at home. The tedious part of the entire process was the user was frequently asked to provide login id and password.

I'm happy with the online process introduced by the government as now we don't have to visit every college for cumbersome admission process. But it is also not easy to apply online because the site is too slow. After wasting two-three days, I finally got through the whole process on Sunday.

It was very difficult to log on and fill the form on the website; it crashed frequently because of the load. It took me an entire day to fill the form before it crashed. But now things are improving. It is a good initiative because now we don't have to stand in long queues outside colleges, especially in the rains. Online admission has made things easier for students as well as parents as now admission has become quicker, easier and simpler.

I have already submitted the online form and I am happy with the process. It was a bit confusing initially. But if filled with proper concentration, then I don't think there is any difficulties. Also, one needs to make sure that proper information is filled in; otherwise it can lead to some problems.

The website is too slow; the main reason behind it is that everyone is anxious and wants to fill their applications as soon as possible. As a result, the site takes time to open up or crashes. It took me hours to complete the whole procedure. I don't find anything negative about the site except that it is slow. Another thing: the person, who has to access to internet only through a cyber café, will have to spend more money.

The online process is an excellent idea if the system works properly. There are too many loopholes and it is not at all reliable. While filling the form, many questions are left unanswered. The codes of the colleges keep on changing and if a student goofs up in writing the codes then the log-in fails.

The new admission system is of great help especially during monsoon. Although, it tends to become difficult for people who don't have access to internet. I faced difficulties in a cyber café in my locality as it took hours to fill the form. So, I ended up taking help of my relatives. The website takes a lot of time to open up. Even if the website is too slow, it is still a better option to standing in queues.

My daughter and I were unable to fill the form because it was very confusing, and had to take help from others before submitting it. I think every new project takes time to settle down and even in due course of time people will become comfortable with the new admission process.
