The 2011 IPL auction has seen fabulous amounts of money bandied about. Indian players have sizzled and fetched the most money with Gautam Gambhir fetching a whopping $2.4 million (Rs11.04 crore). Yusuf Pathan ($2.1 million), Rohit Sharma ($2 million) and Robin Uthappa ($2.1 million) crossed the two million mark.
On the other hand, legends of the game like Sourav Ganguly, Brian Lara and Sanath Jayasuriya went unsold.
