Operation Geronimo carried out by US Navy SEALs led to the killing of the world’s most wanted terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.
Though the exact circumstances of Laden's death remain unclear, the US has said that the forces that raided his Abbottabad compound shot the Qaeda chief in the face. The US has also acknowledged that Laden was unarmed when he was cornered and shot.
Additionally, the Americans have now said that they will not release photos of Laden to the public, citing a “national security risk”.
Do you think the US really killed Osama bin Laden? Did killing an unarmed Laden amount to a violation of human rights? Do you think the Qaeda boss was denied natural justice?
