With six patients dying of H1N1 influenza and hundreds more undergoing treatment or awaiting test results, large parts of India are in the grip of a swine flu scare. Schools in several cities have been shut while in Pune, Maharashtra, which has reported the most number of cases, malls and cinema halls have also been closed down.
Meanwhile, the Union health ministry insists the situation is under control and continues to restrict access to the test for swine flu and to Tamiflu, the drug that is known to cure the disease.
Do you think the government is doing the right thing by reacting cautiously? Or is there reason for people to panic?
