Pallava Bagla gets INS Science Communication Award

Senior journalist Pallava Bagla has been chosen for the prestigious Indian Nuclear
Society's Science Communication Award for 2008.

Bagla, science editor, NDTV, was selected for the award for his outstanding contributions in popularizing science and technology, particularly nuclear sciences.

The annual award, which carries a citation and a cash prize of Rs50,000, will be conferred on Bagla at a meeting of the Indian Nuclear Society in Chennai on January 4,2010.

Bagla is also an avid photographer and his work has been published in National Geographic, Time, Newsweek, Elle and The Economist.
