For parents too busy to read bedtime stories to their kids, here's the perfect solution to their problem.

The latest iPhone and iPad app can actually read your child a story and even sing them a lullaby — even if you are busy at work, reports the Daily Mail.

The Nursery Rhymes app with Storytime, which costs £2.39, is marketed as a tool parents can use to ensure they never miss bedtime again, no matter where they are.

Parents can use the microphone to speak to their child, while the touchscreen on the gadgets can also be used to make the pages move.

Currently, Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill and Three Blind Mice have been converted into the new format.

However, the application has been criticised from online groups who believe it could lead to a lack of bonding with children.
