Xiaomi just unveiled the Redmi Pro in China. The device will be available in three variants namely Helio X20 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,100). The second variant will sport a Helio X25 processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage which will be available at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs 17,100) and lastly, the third variant includes a Helio X25 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 20,200). It will be available in gold, silver and dark grey color variants. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro goes on sale in China on August 6.

The company also stated that it had sold 110 million Redmi smartphone since they were first launched in August 2013.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.5-inch OLED display with 342ppi pixel density along with a 2.5D curved glass. It includes a microSD card for expandable storage up to 128GB. The highlight of the device is its camera. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro sports a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor along with a 5MP front facing camera with a Samsung sensor.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE along with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS and Bluetooth v4.2. A 4050mAh battery completes the package.
