Xiaomi has sent out invites for an event in China, where it is expected to unveil the Mi 5s.

Xiaomi will most likely unveil the Mi 5s at an event on September 27 at China. The company has shared a teaser on Weibo with the letter ‘S’ standing out which hints at the fact that the company may unveil the device next week.
As per the leak, the smartphone sports a 5.15-inch display with 3D touch support. It will be powered by a 2.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, paired with 6GB RAM. It is rumored to sport an internal storage of 256GB.
The device is expected to sport a 16MP rear camera along with a 4MP front facing camera. Additionally, the Mi 5s is expected to support 4K video recording too. The dual-SIM device will also include connectivity features such as GPRS/ EDGE, NFC, 3G, 4G and VoLTE. It will be backed by a 3490mAh battery. In addition, the Mi 5s is rumoured to sport Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
