The new season of Game of Thrones is just around  the corner, and it's likely a lot of you are eagerly waiting to scratch that year-long itch. And none more it seems than Siri.

With all the hype surrounding the arrival of more GoT goodness, Apple went ahead and decided to patch in a few canned responses for their digital assistant, according to a report by Mac Rumors.

Asking Siri if Jon Snow is dead will give you one of following responses:

"Well, you know what they say to Death…. Not today! But why would tomorrow be any better? Anyway, I'm not exactly sure."

"I’m not sure. Has he tried restarting? That always seems to work."

"'Dead is dead'. Or is it 'What's dead may never die'? No, wait, 'Death is so terribly final'? I give up."

"I don't know. I just hope someone is setting up doggie daycare for Ghost."

If, instead, you ask Siri if winter is coming, she might reply with the inimitable, "Hodor." Other possible replies include:

"Does a Lannister always pay his debts?"

"I can’t get the weather for Westeros right now, but I can get you the weather in West Hollywood."

Of course, not everyone is asking whether Jon snow is dead, but rather how long he'll stay that way. Despite numerous theories online, that prove nigh infallible, we're going to stay spoiler free here and not give anything away. But if you know nothing, and prefer to take the plunge, the title of the new season's very first episode hides a clue.
