Users aren't happy with the latest WhatsApp feature.
Updated : Mar 13, 2018, 03:00 AM IST
The instant messaging platform introduced a new feature for sharing photos, videos, and GIFs that disappear after 24 hours. Similar to the text messages, this too will be encrypted end-to-end. This feature is rolling out worldwide on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. The reinvented feature release also coincides with its 8th birthday on February 24, 2017,
Similar to Instagram or Snapchat ‘Stories’, WhatsApp users can now post photos or videos for a predetermined amount of time via an in-app camera. After clicking the picture, you can doodle over the image, add text and emoticons too. After publishing, it will appear as a new “status” tab, wherein your contacts can view it for 24 hours. Users can watch these updates from friends and replay them too.
Unfortunately, some users aren't very happy about the new feature and have taken to Twitter to express their views. The tweets range from being hilarious to a downright plea for an earlier version of the instant messaging service. Have a look below:

First it was Snapchat. Then IG Stories. Then Facebook tried to copy. And now WhatsApp. Wtf, not cool guys. Just stick to what you're good at
