Watch: 'Gran Turismo Sport' unveils trailer

The latest iteration in PlayStation's "Gran Turismo" motorsport franchise is on its way this November for PlayStation 4.

Clocking in with a lap time of nearly four minutes, the debut trailer for "Gran Turismo Sport is full of glossy supercars, impressively defined tracks, and imposing environments.

Urban, raceway and nature-based courses from around the world, scores of vehicles, and a detailed photo mode were also part of the reel.

Following the announcement and ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June, details regarding the game's 137 cars, 19 locations, 27 track layouts, and 6 main modes were provided via a May 19 livestream.

Pre-orders were opened immediately.

A spin-off from the main PlayStation series, "Gran Turismo Sport" will release the week of November 15 worldwide: day and date in North America and Japan, from November 16th in European regions, and from November 18th in the UK.

It'll be the first game in the franchise launched on PlayStation 4, and will be received as a stepping stone towards "Gran Turismo 7."
