Dating app Tinder's first foray into the world of freemium monetization, Tinder Plus, is set to launch on Monday for $9.99, a report said.

The app has been testing pricing in several markets over the past few months, with prices ranging from $0.99 to $19.99 per month. Sources said that the pricing is expected to vary from market to market but added that the service will hit the US market at a price under $10, reported TechCrunch.

This is the first time Tinder has asked its users to start paying for a product.

The new Tinder Plus will come with a slew of features that will add broader functionality to the service. One of the most attractive and highly requested feature would be the Rewind function that will allow users to go back to the very last person they swiped left on. Instead of losing them forever, users can pay a little extra to bring them back and get a second look.

It will also be advertisement free and include a Passport feature, which will allow users to search for matches anywhere in the world instead of being locked into their actual location, the report said.
