Are you one of those people who love to eat but runs away from cooking? Well, a new robot will now know how to cook over 100 different meals for you! And the best part about this machine is that it will clean up after itself as well.

Developed by Moley Robotics, the intelligent robotic ‘chef cook’ is a robotic kitchen which will have access to renowned chefs and their recipes. The basic innovation is that the machine records the motions of a human chef, and then recreates them.

This machine can specify the exact number of portions, the type of cuisine along with keeping a check on your health with dietary restrictions, calorie count, desired ingredients, cooking method and more.

The robot kitchen will reportedly consist of cabinetry, appliances, utensils, and two fully articulated robotic motion capture system. The kitchen is operated by its touch screen or remotely via smartphone. When the machine is not in use, the robotic arms retract from view. In robotic use, glass screens glide across the unit, enclosing it for safe use when there is no one at home.

If you feel like cooking a meal for yourself one day, this robotic kitchen will be available in its traditional setting too. Mark Oleynik, CEO and Founder of Moley Robotics believes, “The advantage of such an approach is that you can prepare a dish yourself when you feel like it, or a user can record a cooking process so next time when he or she doesn’t feel like cooking, the robot can recreate the same dish itself.”

In the future, the system’s advancement will detect if there is a food contamination risk and will also follow a standard food safety control procedure that will detect and exclude all possible risks. Additionally, to ensure cleanliness, the robot will work in disposable silicon gloves too.

Moley will launch the consumer version of the Robotic Kitchen in 2017 which will be supported by an iTunes' style library of recipes.
