Sony slashes prices of Xperia X and Xperia Z5 Premium in India

Sony announces a Rs 10,000 price cut for the Xperia X which was launched about three months ago for Rs 48,990. The company hopes that the new price of Rs 38,990 will bolster sales.

The company has also announced a price cut for another premium smartphone. The Xperia Z5 Premium which was launched about a year ago for Rs 55,990, will now retail for Rs 47,990.
