Sony expands its touch portfolio by launching the Vaio Flip F13N/F14N/F15N. It features a unique hinge that provides users with a variety of new ways to use their mobile PCs while still enjoying the full functionality of a traditional clamshell laptop. The new Vaio Flip is available in 13-inch, 14-inch and 15-inch sizes.
By launching the laptop cum tablet, Sony has now entered the multi-capability device market, competing with companies like Intel who have announced a few laptops cum tablet devices in the past year.
The new Vaio Flip F13N/F14N/F15N will be available from 29th January, 2014 across select Sony Center, Vaio flagship stores and major electronic stores across India.

The thin chassis of the laptop is constructed with brushed aluminium hairline finish. The touchscreen notebook comes with Opti-contrast panel, large touch pad and bigger palm rest to give users a comfortable typing experience, as well as a backlit keyboard which allows for work in low-light conditions.
Vaio Flip is powered by 4th Generation Intel Core i5 & i7 processors. VAIO Flip F15N is also powered by NVIDIA auto switchable graphics.
The Flip F13N weighs 1.31 Kg and its battery lasts up to 7.5 hours. F14N and F15N's batteries last for 6 hours and 5 hours respectively. Sony has also included a dedicated USB port inside charging adaptor for quick smart phone charging. This provides instant charging without blocking USB ports on laptop. With Vaio's sleep and charge technology, phones can be charged even when the system is shutdown.
As an introductory offer, Sony is doling out its headphones MDR-XB910A worth Rs. 12,990/ with the Vaio Flip. The Flip comes with one year Accidental Damage and also EMI finance plans.
