Sony could be unveiling the Xperia E5 smartphone in June

A rendering of a new Sony smartphone -- the Xperia E5 -- was seen on the official Facebook page of the company, which was probably a mistake as the Japanese multinational company pulled it off. 

The smartphone was revealed under the sudo name Sony F3311, that was first spotted on the benchmark listing of GFXBench in April, According to GSMArena.

If reports are accurate, the upcoming entry-level smartphone will harbour a 4.6-inch screen with an HD resolution. a MediaTek MT6735 chipset, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.

According to a report by Softpedia, the smartphone will come with a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel selfies camera and will be backed by Android Marshmallow OS. 

Reports about a suspicious number on the smartphone that could possibly be the release date of the smartphone, so fans may get their hands on the new Sony device on June 5. 

GFXBench benchmarked another smartphone last month called the Sony F3216. Giving the specifications, it could possibly be a variant of the Sony Xperia E5.

The headset has a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, a 4.6-inch screen with FHD resolution, a 21-megapixel rear camera, and a 16-megapixel front camera.
