Samsung is pulling the plug on its music streaming service Milk Music. The company has already started notifying its users that the service will end on September 22.
The company issued a statement which mentioned, “Samsung is sun setting its Samsung Milk Music service in the United States on September 22, 2016. We have made the strategic decision to invest in a partner model focused on seamlessly integrating the best music services available today into our family of Galaxy devices. We believe that working with partners will accelerate innovation, enhance device sales and provide amazing new experiences for our customers.”
A report by the Variety points out that Samsung is urging its smartphone users to switch over to Slacker Radio, which powered the system. Reportedly, the service failed to gain any traction with users.
