Samsung is rumoured to unveil its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S8 on March 29. Twitter tipster @Ricciolo1 claims that the device is ‘ready’ and will be shown off at MWC next month. The tweet simply mentions 849 which could be presumed as $849 (approximately Rs 57,800) or €849 (approximately Rs 61,700).

Also, the smartphone will reported only be revealed to a select-audience and will not be for the general public. According to the leak, the device will be available end of April. In addition, Samsung will also unveil the larger variant, the Galaxy S8 Plus. Rumours suggest that the smartphone will be priced at €949 (approximately Rs 69,000).

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S8 series are expected to feature dual-edge curved displays, with thin bezels. Samsung might ditch the Home button and may include the fingerprint scanner underneath the display. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 8GB RAM. The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and also include the company’s own voice assistant called ‘Bixby’. Additionally, it will also sport a UFS 2.1 flash storage chip along with a dual-camera setup.
