Samsung Galaxy Round's ad came out a few days ago unveiling the curved smartphone. The ad absurdly compares the new device with an avocado, lemon and even a baby's hand.
The device is only launched in Korea yet. The phone is supposedly a variant of Galaxy Note 3.
The Galaxy Round's 5.7-inch (14.4-centimetre) display has a slight horizontal curve and weighs 154 g, allowing a more comfortable grip than other flat-screen models on the market, Samsung said in a statement.
Some of the key features of the Samsung Galaxy Round is the tilt function, allowing users to check information like battery life and missed calls, even if the home screen is off.
The advertisement released for the Korean users is quite amusing. The phone is compared to lemons, eggs, avocados, Russian dolls and even a baby's hand.
The message is pretty simple. The mobile is curved. What else is curved? Other objects like , eggs and microphones. Plain and simple.
Other curved smartphone that was released was the LG G-flex that curves to follow the contour of the face. Both the phones are slated to release in South Korea only.
