After being in the news for a while Samsung has finally launched its Galaxy Grand Prime at a decent Rs. 15499. Primarily an entertainment centric phone it is being pitched as on-the-go multitasking phone.
The 156 grams phone is 144.8x72.1x8.6mm and has a large 5-inch screen while its resolution is a modest qHD 960 x 540 pixels. It is equipped with a Dual SIM facility and runs on a 2600 MAh battery.
The smartphone gives special attention to its front camera which has been upgraded to a 5MP one keeping in mind consumer behavior of taking 'selfies'. The Galaxy Grand Prime has an 8 MP rear camera with an LED Flash that shoots videos at 1080p.
Like other Samsungs lunched in the recent past this one too comes with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. It operates the Android 4.4 OS and has a 1GB RAM.
It uses an 8 GB internal memory that is exendable to 64 GB. The smart phone is avalable in grey and while color choices.
