Some news regarding the much anticipated Moto X 2016 smartphone surfaced a while back by Chinese tech blog TechWeb. The fourth generation of the Moto X was set to release sometime next year.

According to sources, the new moto X will come equipped with a metal frame design. It also apparently has some sort of heat pipe cooling technology for heat dispersion. Reports say that the new Moto X will come equipped with a Snapdragon 820, Qualcomm latest chipset and word on the street is that this chip set isn't the coolest of the lot which is probably why they included the cooling technology in the smartphone.

Other hardware specifications have not yet been confirmed, however, there are a few unreliable sources on the Internet that say the phone will have a 5.8 inch display with Quad HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is also rumoured that the new flagship will be completely waterproof and dustproof much like it predecessor. The same sources also say that the phone will have a 27 MP rear camera that supports 4K video recording with LED flash and that the phone will be able to play videos with QHD resolution. They also mention that the phone will have a 8 MP front camera with LED flash. It apparently may also have a 4000mAh battery that may support fast charge and a fingerprint scanner. These stretchy leads say that the phone will be priced at around $400

It is rumoured that this is just one of many combinations that Motorola are testing, so which one actually makes it to the market is anyone's guess. Hopefully there is more news in the future but until then let's just hope that Motorola release some information about their latest smartphone.
