Redmi Note 3 is the best selling smartphone of India, claims Xiaomi

Xiaomi claims to have sold over 2,300,000 units in India, since it went on sale, making it the best selling smartphone in the country. According to the company, one in every nine phones ordered online was a Redmi Note 3. This means, every 7 seconds a Redmi Note 3 was sold in India.

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution, and a pixel density of 403 ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with 2GB or 3GB RAM. In terms of memory, the smartphone includes 16GB/32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop based MIUI 7; the device comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera. A 4050mAh battery completes the package.
