Qualcomm introduces Clear Sight dual camera tech

Qualcomm has launched its new dual camera technology Clear Sight for smartphones, reports Slash Gear, intended to mimic how the human eye functions. 

Clear Sight works with Qualcomm's Spectra image signal processor within its Snapdragon 820 and 821 mobile processors. The module uses two types of cameras, both of which have the same focal length and sensor. One has its color filter removed, however, offering better contrast and low-light functioning.

Qualcomm has not yet released details on when Clear Sight will be available.
