OnePlus announces open sales for OnePlus One, forever

OnePlus has announced open sales for it's smash hit smartphone, the OnePlus One, every day of the week, starting April 20. The 64GB Sandstone Back and 16GB Silk White versions will be available for purchase on Amazon, without an invite, indefinitely.

The offer is a celebration of the company's success since its smartphone's launch last year, with OnePlus growing to over 700 employees and selling over one million of the smartphone globally. Carl Pei, Co-founder and Head of Global, OnePlus, said, “By rigorously testing and improving our logistical structure over the last one year, we are far more confident that our processes have matured enough for us to handle the increased production and after-sales support that comes along with opening up sales. It’s what we’ve been working towards, and now we’re ready. This current shift from an invite system to a non-invite system is a big step, one from which we will learn a great deal before the OnePlus 2 launch, with invites, in the third quarter of this year”, he added.

As part of the celebration, OnePlus is also offering a flat 50 percent discount on these accessories on Amazon, with a purchase of the OnePlus One, till April 23:
