Now Google Chrome will warn you ahead of malware download

Google, in an attempt to curb the malware instalments, will warn the chrome users if a website is trying to download an unwanted software on their devices.

Google, in an attempt to curb the malware instalments, will warn the chrome users if a website is trying to download an unwanted software on their devices.

Earlier Chrome  used to warn users after the website was opened. But now this new addition will show an alert ahead of it. The search engine announced on their security blog that SafeBrowsing will also incorporate signals that identify such notorious sites with Google Search. It will reduce the chances of users visiting such harmful sites. Google has also started disabling ads that lead to sites with unwanted software.

Browsers are the easiest passage of attacking any system. Just bypass the firewall and install harmful malwares into the computer. Connecting to sites with unknown hosts results in security breaches and many a times people lose their personal information, bank details, or fall prey to other sorts of cyber crime.

This red coloured pop-up warning will enable users to divert from such harmful websites.

Site owners should register with Googel Webmaster tool to get help to keep their websites free of such malwares piggybacking on thier sites.
