Motorola launches Moto E in India, to be sold exclusively on Flipkart

Motorola, on Tuesday announced the launch of its latest smartphone in India, the Moto E, a budget smart phone priced at just Rs 6,999! 

The phone which comes with a 4.3 inch display, a 1.2Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1 GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory which can be upgraded via a MicroSD card. At the price point its retails at, the phone is quite a beast. Add to it the large 1980mAh battery, makes the phone a great buy for those looking at budget Motorola device.

Motorola claims the phone is built to take knocks, falls and even splashes of water and uses a tag line called, "Built to last, Priced for all." Motorola claims the phone which comes with a dual-SIM feature, also runs the latest Android software and comes with a promise of receiving future updates from Google too.

The phone though lacks a front facing camera or even a flash for the back camera, a feature that will be sorely missed by many social media enthusiasts.

Motorola has tied up with Flipkart in India to sell the phone exclusively on its web-store just as it has done in the past with its other mobile devices.
