American multinational corporation Microsoft is expected to showcase an early preview version of Windows 9 in September, say reports.
The company has been working on the release for several months adding different features to make it ready for the preview.
The Windows 9 is expected to be like Windows 8 with missing features, reports the Verge.
The internal features of the operating system would most likely include a new mini Start Menu and an early version of Cortana.
Windows 9 will feature a virtual desktop and there will be a removal of the charms bar feature.
