Microsoft has reportedly revealed that documents associated with the software giant’s law enforcement inquiries were compromised during recent attacks on employee email accounts.

Microsoft had earlier confirmed a breach by the Syrian Electronic Army, targeting e-mail accounts of a few employees.

The company issued a further warning and promised appropriate action in case of a compromise of customer information related to the law enforcement requests, the Verge reported.
