Marvel recruited its fans to tweet with the movie hashtag, to unlock the trailer.
Marvel Studios today released a newer, more comprehensive trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, asking people to tweet with #AvengersAssemble to show their love and unlock the video. And as needy and annoying as that sounds, the trailer honestly does look great.
While most everything might look to be the samefrom the first two trailers, there's a few extra things to see, if you can spot them. See for yourself in the trailer below.
Firstly, it loooks like Bruce Banner and Black Widow are a thing now (Hawkeye is going to be so mad). And, for a few frames in the trailer, the Avengers appear to be hiding out in someone's living room, instead of the boldly displayed Avengers tower. Tony Stark aka Ironman, also takes the blame for creating the AI that is Ultron, whereas in the comic books that was Antman/Hank Pym's fault. The Maximoff twins also feature in this trailer, first alongside Ultron in a deserted factory (where he says, "We can tear them apart from the inside"), and then with Scarlet Witch seeming to cast a spell on Black Widow (mind control possibly) and Quicksilver delivering a sweet sweet superspeed uppercut to Captain America. Strangely enough, Wanda does seem to be fighting Ultron's minions alongside the Avengers in the last fight sequence of the trailer. We also get to see a very enraged Hulk pounding on Tony's Hulkbuster armor as it tries to take off and grinds off the side of a building.
But of course, the best moment from the trailer could be right at the end, with our first close-up look of Vision, and his creepily human-looking android eyes.
Everything else aside, the movie looks like it might disprove the "Law of Horrible Sequels" and knock this out of the park. Marvel knows what makes its fans tick and they're delivering.
