LG introduces V20, the world’s first smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat

LG has introduced the first smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, called LG V20. The device is expected to launch in India soon. At the moment, no details regarding price or availability have been announced. It will be available in Titan, Silver and Pink color variants.

In terms of specifications, the LG V20 sports a .7-inch main IPS Quantum display with a 1440x2560 pixels resolution along with a secondary IPS Quantum display at 160X1040 pixel resolution.

 It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor, paired with 4GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

It supports lossless audio formats like FLAC, DSD, AIFF, and ALAC. The V20 is also, the world’s first smartphone to feature a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, powered by ESS Technology, designers of high-performance audio products. The 5MP front camera on the LG V20 comes with a 120-degree lens. On the other hand, the 8MP rear camera comes with its 135-degree lens is said to be ‘perfect for taking pictures in front of a gorgeous vista or inside a gigantic stadium’. The large aperture standard angle lens captures images at a maximum of 16MP with its 75-degree lens.

Connectivity features include X12 LTE (up to 600 Mbps LTE Category 12 with 3x Carrier Aggregation) / Wi-Fi (802.11 a, b, g, n, ac) / USB Type-C / Bluetooth 4.2 BLE and NFC. A 3200mAh battery completes the package.
