LeEco launched a couple of smartphones -- Le 2 and Le Max 2 -- a few week ago, with top-notch specification especially when considering it price. Now it seems like the company is readying a new smartphone for launch.

Android benchmarking app AnTuTu has listings of LeEco’s new flagship under the alias LEX720, with a test score of an astounding 157,897 points. The new smartphone is expected to be the Le 2S, the successor of the Le 2.

If the information is accurate, then the Le 2S will come with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 821 processor, a spec that was missing on the Galaxy Note 7 but was recently launched in the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe in India.

The smartphone is also expected to sport a 5.5-inch full HD display, 16-megapixel rear shooter, 8-megapixel front camera and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with LeEco's EUI skin on top.

There are also rumours indicating that there will be two variants of the smartphone: a 4GB of RAM version with 32GB of internal storage and an 8GB RAM variant with 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage.

The second smartphone is presumably either a pro variant of the Le 2S or an upgraded version of the Le Max 2. Given that LeEco has always announced two smartphones -- one of which always carries the “Max” suffix -- it should come as no surprise if the company decides to do so this time around.

LeEco Le 2S Pro is rumoured to launch on November 20, 2016.
