An Apple iPhone 5, loaded with highly-addictive game Flappy Bird, reportedly appeared for sale on online auction site, eBay, for a whopping 94,000 dollars.

However, the listing was taken down from the site without an explanation or confirmation if the purchase went through.

According to metro.co.uk, speculations indicate that the item was taken down by eBay as the listing contravened its rules, but it is yet to be confirmed.

The hysteria surrounds the simple yet addictive mobile game that was recently taken down by its Vietnamese developer, Nguyen Dong, who had revealed that the game raked in 50,000 dollars per day in revenue.

The report said that the 16 GB iPhone 5 with the game immediately lured gamers into offering 7,000 dollars within a couple of hours the bid was posted and a similar bid inclusive of a second-hand iPhone attracted a 400 pounds bid on the site.
