Huawei launches Honor 6 Plus at Rs 26,499 and Honor 4X at Rs 10,499

Honor launched its latest 4G smartphones in India today, to be sold exclusively on Flipkart. The phones were unveiled by prominent Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor. 

The Honor 6 plus has a 5.5" 1920x1080p JDI negative crystal display with  3600mAh battery to back itup. The company claims its Smart Power feature extends battery life upto 30 percent to give you an average two-day usage on a single charge. It packs a Kirin 925 1.8GHz octa-core processor, with 3GB RAM. The rear camera comes with dual 8MP sensors and post-shot aperture and focus selection, promising users DSLR quality snaps. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage, expandable via Micro SD card. 

The Honor 4X, meanwhile, is Huawei's budget 4G phone, with both TDD and FDD LTE optimisation. Powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 2GB Ram and 8GB internal storage, the phone has a 13MP rear camera and 5 MP front cam. It packs a 3000mAh battery, promising a 72-hour battery life, and has a 5.5" 720p narrow bezel screen. It runs Android KitKat with the custom Emotion UI 3.0. 

The Honor 6 Plus is priced ar Rs 26,499 and the Honor 4X is priced at Rs 10,499. Registrations for the Honor 4X will be open at hihonour.in as well as on Flipkart from 4pm March 24 to midnght March 29., and will officially go on sale at 2pm March 30. A few of preregistered customers will also be selected to receive free goodies worth Rs 14,000.  The Honor 6 Plus will go on sale later in April 2015.
