HTC has reportedly sent out media invites for an event in Delhi for  today, where it is expected to introduce the HTC 10 in India. The device was globally launched in April this year with the latest Snapdragon 820 processor, and it competes with Samsung’s Galaxy series and LG’s newly launched G5.

However, the company has listed another variant, dubbed the HTC 10 Lifestyle in India, which sports a Snapdragon 652 processor. At the moment, there is no information provided as to which variant the company will launch in India, or whether it would introduce both. The HTC 10 will be available in Glacier Silver and Carbon Grey colour variants.

In terms of specifications, the HTC 10 sports a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution along with a pixel density of 564ppi. The HTC 10 is powered by Snapdragon 820 with 4GB RAM while the HTC 10 Lifestyle is powered by a Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 3GB RAM.

Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Sense 7 UI, the HTC 10 offers 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage variants while the HTC 10 Lifestyle includes the 32GB inbuilt storage variant only. Both devices include expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card. The smartphone supports BoomSound Hi-Fi with Dolby Audio as well.

The HTC 10 comes equipped with a 12-UltraPixel camera with f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization and dual-LED flash, along with a 5MP front camera with f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization and a screen flash.

Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, DLNA and other standard options. A 3,000mAh battery completes the package.
