The global beta ROM 7.1.19, based on Android Nougat is now available.

Shortly after Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 in India, the company has released the first global version of MIUI based on Android N for the device. However, the company notes that the changelog is not very stable and may have some potential issues.
Follow the steps on how to flash the developer’s ROM:
1. Download the MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM 7.1.19 from here.
2. If you have downloaded it on PC, transfer the file to the internal storage of your device. If you have downloaded it in your phone, then you will find the ROM in the Download folder in the internal storage.
3. Now go to updater app and tap on "..." on top right corner. Select "Choose update package" and it will open in the internal storage.
4. Navigate to the ROM file in your device select it. After selecting Flashing/Updating, the process will start, and you will get "Getting Info" written at the bottom.
5. After the process is complete, it will automatically update and rebot. After reboot, the smartphone will start with latest MIUI 8 ROM which you flashed.
