Google Zeitgeist - Here's what people googled in 2013

The Google Zeitgeist is a portal to view all that was searched for in 2013. Nelson Mandela, ISRO, The Boston Marathon, Miles Scott aka Bat-Kid, Breaking Bad and others were some of the most searched for people and events around the globe.

The Google Zeitgeist page allows the viewer to view in a variety of ways what were the biggest and most-talked about events and people in 2013.

You can also watch the Year In Review. The section allows you to see the most viewed pages, the hits they got and the trending topics in '13.

Another interesting feature is the 'Your Big Moment in 2013', which allows you to post your own pictures. These pictures get integrated into the main collage, allowing billions of people worldwide to see your most memorable moments.


The top 100 searches are displayed in another section, allowing you to scroll through them and see how they ranked in different parts of the world.


Another section allows you to see global trends, arranged according to date and viewed through a 3-D rendition of the world.

Google Zeitgeist is an interactive and innovative way to view how this past year has gone by, looking through all the major events, and making sure that you know which trends made the most waves.
