The new Chromebooks, priced at Rs 12,999, have been released in India as part of a tie up with both Nexian and Xolo.

Google India has partnered with Xolo and Nexian to launch two new Chromebooks, budget laptops running the Chrome OS. The Nexian Chromebook is available here on Amazon India, while the Xolo Chromebook will come to Snapdeal in a few days, both priced at Rs 12,999. Google has also announced a new Asus Chromebook, the Flip C201, which will be available later this year.
The Nexian and the Xolo Chromebook have the same specs, packing a 1.8GHz Cortex-A17 quad-core processor, with 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB storage (expandable via SD card upto 64GB), and an ARM Mali-T764 GPU. They each have a 11.6" TFT (1366x768p) display, 1MP camera, two USB and one HDMI port. The devices are powered by a 4,200mAh battery, claiming 8 hours of battery usage on a single charge, and run on the Chrome OS.
