Google's latest addition to the fold, Google Keep, could turn out to be the assistant you always wanted. It wants to be your sticky notes, to-do list, reminders and your significant other's voice in your head all at once.

Similar to Google Drive, keep lets you share notes that you make with other users, and allows them to make edits as well. This means you can make that grocery list together, split up at the supermarket, and still make sure you get everything, without calling or texting even once. Just check off the items you've completed and other users on that note can see it too. And you can use search filters for the notes, like colour, whether they've been shared, whether they have attached alarms or images. And once you're done with a note entirely, just swipe to archive and you can get to it again later if you need, without cluttering up the main page.

Google Keep is free on the Google Play store (it's compatible with Android 4.0 and up) as well as in the Chrome store and on the web for PC.
