In India, children's day is celebrated on 14 November and Google India is commemorating the occasion by showcasing the sketch of the winner of the Doodle 4 Google contest on the Google’s home page for India.

The doodle -- created by 11-year-old girl from Pune named Anvita Prashant Telang -- comes with the message to ‘Enjoy every moment in life.’

The doodle by the 6th grader from Vibgyor High School was selected from twelve other shortlisted doodles which were created by kids from India for the 8th edition of the Doodle 4 Google contest.

The theme of the contest was: "If I could teach anyone anything, it would be."

The contest has entries from 50 cities around India.

"With 'Doodle 4 Google' competition, we aim to promote creativity, passion and imagination in younger users. We congratulate Anvita for being judged as the winner this year," said Sapna Chadha, Head of Marketing for Google India.

Clicking on the doodle will take users to the search results for “Children's Day in India”. If users hover the mouse pointer over the doodle, a text will appear that says, “Happy Children's Day! Meet the Doodle For Google winner!”
