Gmail and Google Play Store were down in India, Middle East and South East Asia again

Its outage seems to have disappointed many users across the world.

Search giant Google’s email facility Gmail and its app market Google Play Store were down on Monday morning.

Just last week too Gmail and Google Play were down in India and many other countries and took more than an hour or so to restore the services in most parts of the world. The page was sending 502 error.

Gmail is among the top email services in the world and around hundred of million people use it, making it among the most popular email services. But its outage seems to have disappointed many users across the world.

Google Play Store (google.com/playstore) also seemed to be down and out. The downtime meant that one could not order any product or app on the website.

Google has launched Google Play Store in India recently and is selling books, music, apps, and its tablets through the store. The page was sending 402 error message.
