Ever imagined what a global Q&A session with 1.35 billion people would be like? Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is set to do just that when he hosts a Q&A session for Facebook users on November 6.

Inspired by the internal meetings that he holds every Friday with his staff - where Facebook employees interact with Zuckerberg and ask him questions about the company - the 30-year-old billionaire has decided to extend the programme on a wider scale.

In a Facebook post earlier, Zuckerberg said, "We have a tradition at Facebook, where every Friday we have a Q&A and all employees can come and ask me questions about anything they want."

Zukerberg added, "It's an important part of Facebook's culture. People ask thoughtful questions about why our company is going in certain directions, what I think about things happening in the world, and how we can continue improving our services for everyone. I learn a lot from these Q&As, and the questions people ask help us build better services."

Zuckerberg introduced the event on Facebook:

Users of the social networking website can submit their questions on the Facebook Page 'Q&A with Mark' dedicated to this particular event. For one hour, Zuckerberg will answer those questions with the most likes.

The live-stream event will be available to view on Thursday, November 6, at 2:00 pm Pacific time (3:30 am IST Friday). The video of the event will be uploaded later.

More than 3,000 questions including interesting ones like "Why is Facebook and Facebook Messenger made in two separate apps?", "Where do you see Facebook 10 years from now?" and the inclusion of the 'Dislike' button have been posted on the Facebook event page soon after Zuckerberg posted his statement. At the time of writing this article, over 5,000 people across the globe had liked his post.

Recently, Zuckerberg visited Tsinghua University in China for a Q&A session, where he also entertained students with his recently learnt Mandarin Chinese.
